QuickStats is a simple and quick http log anaylzer. It will compile a
summary of your server usage from your access log. It reports on server usage
by
- Domain of Browser
- Date
- Time
- Requested File or Directory
- Browser Agent
- Domain of Referring Links
Enter the full path to the log you want to analyze below. The default
location is already given, but you can enter a different path if
you have moved your log files, or if you have separate logs for
your virtual hosts.
Choose to list requests by individual files or by subdirectory. Listing
each file will take longer to compute and to download.
Choose to list the top 10, top 50, or all hits in each category.
Again, listing all hits will take longer to download.
Choose the output format. HTML formatted will use a graphical bar and
tables. Plain Text will save the results as formatted text, 80-columns
wide, which is suitable for email.
Finally, if you want to save the summary results to a file, provide
the full path to the file you wish to create. This file must not exist,
or the program will refuse to overwrite it. If you want your results
to go to the browser, just leave this field blank.
